The Department for Education for England has launched a new careers programme to encourage primary school children to think about future jobs early, and challenge career stereotypes.
Children in years 1, 2 and 3, between the ages of five and eight, will be given age-appropriate lessons designed to introduce them to different careers, training and skills, and inspire them about the world of work.
360 believes that Skill City would be an effective way to teach children not only about careers but the 21st century skills that employers are looking for.
